We stayed at the house between Christmas and New Years. There were five of us and so the bedroom/bathroom situation worked out fine. The fenced in yard was a big plus as we also have a dog. The house was beautiful and in a very nice location. It was walking distance to a few restaurants and driving distance to many more. Pleasant Mountain is only about 15 min away and had a nice range of ski slopes for beginners on up. The house was very clean and well appointed. Nick and Kayla were very responsive to our messages to them and always replied within just a few minutes. Overall, we had a really nice time and would recommend Nick and Kayla.

We booked this Falmouth home as a holiday gathering place — one where my whole family could be together, comfortably, for Christmas. And it delivered! There was plenty of space and privacy for everyone to sleep and relax, including a bunk room for the cousins, and ample spots for indoor recreation during the cold weather. The kitchen and living/dining area was great for everyone to hang out while preparing meals, and provided a beautiful view, especially at sunrise, over Cousins Island. The location was great — a very short drive from Portland, close to plenty of grocery shopping and other conveniences, but at the end of a very quiet street. With easy access to the shoreline, we enjoyed low tide walks along the water (brisk, but pretty!). Everything about the home was tidy, clean, and well-organized, Nick & Kayla are excellent and experienced hosts, and we would enthusiastically recommend staying here — especially with a group!

Clean and welcoming home! There was plenty of space for the four of us and the location was very convenient to downtown Kennebunkport. We also enjoyed the short distance to the water for our seaside walks which were amazing! Neighborhood and area was quiet and peaceful. Great spot for a relaxing getaway!

Nick and Kayla came to our rescue after a failed booking at another place for Christmas week. They responded right away and booked us the same day - even let us check in a little early! We spent a quiet snowy Christmas with our family at their place, cooked some great meals in the beautiful kitchen, and enjoyed the snowscape through the large picture windows. The house was warm and cozy and we felt at home right away. Thanks! We’ll be back!

We had an amazing stay! The house was beautiful and exceeded our expectations, Nick & Kayla were so nice and very attentive. We spent a wonderful Christmas with our family, creating special memories in such a cozy and welcoming place. We truly loved it and would absolutely come back. Highly recommend this home!

We had an amazing time staying at Nick & Kayla’s home in Kennebunkport over the Christmas Prelude weekend. Our family is very familiar with KPT but never stayed in this specific location and would definitely stay again! Nick and Kayla were incredibly friendly and responsive.

This is such a fantastic place to stay in Portland! Great location, secure building, clean and adorable! Perfect for our girls weekend in Portland. Kayla and Nick were super responsive, great instructions, and all around helpful and friendly! Will definitely stay here again for future trips!

This rental was exactly what we needed. The property was clean, new, and had a gorgeous kitchen that was perfect for gathering. The hosts were extremely responsive, and overall the property and experience were truly five stars.

Nick and Kayla's place was simply outstanding! The apartment was everything that it said it was and these two obviously went above and beyond to make their guests comfortable. Even before we arrived, they always responded to our messages extremely quickly and were happy to make suggestions and help up with anything that they needed. My husband and I work from home, so we needed to find a place that was in the middle of everything to save time, while being comfortable when we weren't out exploring. Price was also a large consideration. After a lot of research, this was the perfect balance between the three. The beds and couches were extremely comfortable, everything was very clean, and we only had to use the car to visit the nearby lighthouses (a must see). It is up two flights of stairs and the parking is around the block so being able to walk a bit is a must. We had a perfect stay at The Gem and would love to return. Thank you again for all of your help and a home away from home!

As we made the reservation thru check out Nick & Kayla were very responsive and so kind. The property was so beautiful, great location, and fully equipped to provide a great place to spend a unforgettable vacation.
